A survey has been taken in the UK and in the United States. It just insane how little knowledge English and American citizens have about where various food was created the first time. Here is a sample;
Percentage incorrect - food type - origin
Worcestershire Sauce, 96.3 percent incorrect: Bengal
Pasta, 95.1 percent incorrect: China
Lasagna, 94.5 percent incorrect: Greece
Vindaloo, 93.7 percent incorrect: Portugal
