Machu Picchu in Peru, often known as the "Lost City of the Incas", is a city of ruins left behind by pre-Columbus Incas located on hills 2,350 meters high above the sea. Peruvians always say, "You haven’t been to Peru if you’ve never visited Machu Picchu."
