Pygmalion Effect - Expect More - Achieve More - News 

One of the most interesting psychological effects is called the Pygmalion effect. This occurs when the expectations of a person, given by others or by ones self turn out to be a self fulfilling prophecy.  Take a look at the graphic with this post.
